Bronze Leaping Jaguar

Large and heavy vintage chromed bronze leaping Jaguar figure.  Produced by the Portuguese-born artist Milo, this impressive piece is mounted on a large marble base that emphasises the power of this amazing creature. The jaguar figure is a tribute to the legendary mascot of the British car brand. The so-called 'Leaper' has been used since the 1940s on the radiator of Jaguar cars. First designed by Ercole Palanti who was commissioned by Sir William Lyons to create this iconic figure after he saw something similar produced by Desmo.

The chrome shows some minor signs of wear, but this is an impressive, heavy piece, weighing in at over 20kg, and would grace any mancave, study or living space.
