17th Century Oak Court Cupboard
17th Century Oak Court Cupboard
Late 17th Century carved oak court cupboard. Dated 1685 with initials carved into the frieze at the top. A real country house piece, it splits into 2 for ease of transport. Complete with all the original iron hinges, and most of the fittings. Stands on raised legs, has oak top, back & base boards and panelled sides. Would benefit from a little TLC, but a good solid piece with amazing carvings on most of the doors & front panels. The top section has 2 doors, then the lower section has 2 doors on either end, atop a central door. All with brass handles & original oak latches.
Measures: 175cm wide x approx 160cm tall x 60cm deep
