Vintage collectable Distler Porsche 356 Electromatic 7500 tin toy in red. These toys were manufactured in Germany by Johan Distler KG and launched at the 1955 Nuremberg Toy Fair. Production ran until 1962 in Germany, then a further 3 years in Belgium before being completely discontinued in 1965.
Very few of these toys survive as the battery acid would corrode the rear section. This particular example is in very good condition, with good paint, the steering works and the underside and battery compartment are clean (see last photos) with signs of age and use.
